Soheil worked for me for a few years in a couple of positions at the Schneider Electric Nyköping plant. The activity was to manufacture and distribute electric installation material in a full spectre from custom made devices (DTO) to mass production (MTS), in a technically advanced environment. Soheil first worked as Engineering manager, driving various improvement and transformation projects in the plant, always with customer focus and productivity in mind. After a few years we sadly had to close the factory down in line with the Schneider long-term strategic plan, and in this work Soheil took a big part and responsibility. He was a main player – involved in the union negotiations, leading the planning and structuring of the global transfer project (moving all production to several other European Schneider plants), and supporting the receiving entities in the re-start of production. In this phase he advanced to Operations manager. The closure ran smoothly, without major disturbances to customer, and employees were treated with respect and support in finding new jobs. Soheil was a major contributor to the successful results. He has a very structured and logic way of analysing complex problems, and then developing and executing solutions to them. He can combine short term tactical targets with long term strategic visions in an optimized mix. Further, Soheil is very target driven, has an impressive working capacity, is logic and pragmatic but still caring about the human aspects of change. During the years we were colleagues, he was a very good leader and change manager!

I worked with Soheil during his time as interim COO, both as a union representative and as an employee in the factory. Soheil stepped into a situation where a lot needed to change – one of our parts of production was growing fast and had many questions on the table. We had regular conversations every week where we could raise both big and small things. I appreciated that Soheil always made time for those meetings, despite a high tempo. He was open, listened, and took what I said seriously – not to agree with everything, but to understand the whole picture before he made decisions. I had the great privilege of having Soheil as my manager during my time at Beyond Gravity. I was responsible for Supply Chain, and Soheil was interim COO, but also my direct manager and an invaluable support during a very intense and challenging period. We both stepped in as consultants at a stage where the company was facing a major change, from a project-based way of working and one-off production to a more structured line organisation and serial production. There was barely a functioning factory to start from, but under Soheil’s leadership he built up the factory both organisationally and physically. It took courage, endurance, a strategic eye and an almost tireless commitment, and Soheil delivered, every day, from morning to late night. His impressive work capacity and strong sense of ownership were decisive in moving us forward. What really made an impression on me and on many others was his calm, his presence and the way he always made himself available, no matter how much was going on.
